Scrapbooking For Mothers Day.

Hi. Just wandering if any of my scrap friends here on the Dis, want anything that deals with scrapbooking for Mothers Day? My WHOLE family know if DH wants to take off fishing next weekend, I want a cricut.I never seem to pass them by at Walmart. I just know right now that I am going out for a nice family buffet on Sunday. Just because my mother has asked us to join them all. Sadly to say it could be my fathers last Mothers day with us. "Live Like Every Day Is Your Last Day."

I don't know if DH and the kids are doing anything for me for Mother's Day. I was very clear that I do NOT want to go out to eat (too much $$$, too crowded, and I am trying to lose weight). What I'd like is either a Michael's or ACM gift card, but I haven't mentioned them....DH is funny like that. He doesn't like suggestions at all from the potential gift recipient...he wants to figure it out for himself.

If I get a gift card to either place, the 2nd part of the gift has to be time to go to the store ALONE to use it.

DD is making something at school and I've asked for some new summer pjs (exciting huh!) but since we have our cruise the end of the month and a trip to DLR in june, told DH not to spend a bunch.

Not sure what is planned, just want to be able to SLEEP IN and not have to do ANYTHING at all the entire day!!!

This is only my 3rd Mother's Day. My DD still is not 100% sure about what is going on, so this year, I asked for DH, DD and my self along with DDad and Dmom to go to Dutch Wonderland. That is what we are going to do....in return DH has asked for Father's Day to go to Seasme Place....so ok the holiday is more about our DD who is 2 1/2.

I'm scrapping on Sat but DH has to head out of town on Sunday so we probably won't do anything.

I will get 2 cards- one from my mother and one from my daughter. They are sweet like that! My Dh did ask if there was any scrapbooking "tool" that I didn't already own. Maybe if I call them tools, he will buy them!

I got a new camera... which I could have sworn he said would be my present for my birthday in Jan, for Val day and for my anniversary in March... but alas, I finally got this camera! Plus I'm going to Disney in a couple weeks and we are calling tonight to see if we can upgrade from POR to WL! Love that new AP discount!

All these gifts are nice, but I did drop a hint that it would be nice if he sat my son down secretly and did a card or something like that or craft. So far my son isn't a part of my mother's day gift at all!

i have no idea what's up their sleeve! i know ds made something at school, because he's been hinting around about it. dh will take ds out and they will do something i'm sure but what? i really don't know. i'm thinkin' maybe a new pandora bead? maybe? i'd love to have some spacers for my bracelet, but don't know if they have been listening!

Well I asked for a Vera Bradley tote bag- sent him the ebay link and everything. I was hoping he would surprise me with it, but he ordered it right in front of me. I know we won't go out to eat. I might get breakfast in bed.

I got Pinwheel Pink, because I am such a pink freak. I try to deny it, but it's just the truth. I just looked at the Daisy Daisy print and it's so cute too! I am a purse/tote/bag freak- I have never met a bag I didn't like (ok, well maybe once or twice). I just started loving Vera Bradley's stuff- it will be my first of many I am sure.

Ok, I had to check out the Pandora bracelets- SO COOL! Another thing to collect!!! DH will be soooooooooo excited (this is 'said' with much sarcasm)!!

love the pinwheel pink one too! i just bought my 1st one last year when we were going to disney. i bought the hipster style one. i think the print was called botanical. i thought it summery. (is that a word??) and ever since then i've been hooked! but i love to have the whole thing match. ya know? the purse, the wallet, the checkbook cover....the whole nine yards!

Oh, I totally agree- I want it to match. I definitely think some of the patterns are more summery- Pinwheel Pink is for sure. I have already (I think) picked a pattern for the fall.

i know they are so cool. i love mine. sil gave it to me for bday and dh just shook his head! but i think he secretly was glad because it gives him a fall back for a present when he has no other ideas!!!

i love the blue/brown one for the fall. i can't think of it's name right now. but it's very fallish.

I am getting/got a Cricut Expression for Mother's day. I started playing with it last night, but the mat that came with it is so bent when the blade was moving around, it left marks. So I am going to swing by today to buy more matts.
