scrapbooking, anyone?

I double-checked the scrapbook I bought on board at the end of April. It's 12 x 12 and cost $25.00 (no tax on board). The extra pages packet was $15.00 and it's adorable. They had plenty of both on our cruise. Thanks for the great tips on this thread. I'm making myself wait until my Parks scrapbook from last year is complete, but I can't wait to start on the cruise scrapbook!

Annae,

I included all my 6x8 ship photos right into my SB layouts! I actually like the idea of having at least one larger photo on my layout, especially if it's a great photo! Now that I use digital and print my own photos, I find that I do this for most of my layouts now.

If it's too big, you can easily do what b&bdiscruisers mentioned, just scan it and then print it out in a size that you want! Have fun...scrapping is great! ::yes::

Barbara:

The extra packet has extra cruise papers 12 x 12, stickers and I believe two frames

Which onboard ship are the books and extra packets sold in? What to make sure I get there early!

I got mine on the Wonder on May 16th. Like I said earlier, don't worry so much about the scrapbook itself, they had plenty. But they only had a handful or so of the extra packets

I have to agree with the post about the CM album. This promotion came out just before we left for the May 8th cruise. My consultant contacted me about it and I placed an order.

She dropped it off last week and I was very disappointed. I should have paid more attention to the size, which is only 7X7 and the price was way more than I would have paid had I known about the size. I purposely didn't buy the album on the ship because I thought the CM album would do it for me. BUY THE ONE ON THE SHIP!!!!!

I'm going to keep the CM album and do a small scrapbook with photos of my kids etc. for them to show their friends. My aunt lives in FL and I have asked her to see what she can find for me.

Live and learn.

Leahpie-- check ebay. They had one there last week with a picture. Really nice!

I got two of the Creative Memories albums just before we left on our May 15th cruise, one for each of my girls. They used them as their character autograph books. Now that we are home we are adding photos that I took with each character and child. We bought the Michey Mouse snap pack and extra pages also. It is really turning out to be a cute memory book for the girls. I will do a regular 12X12 one for myself.

TM TIIP,

Your idea sounds cute. That is about what I am going to do with mine for my daughter. My son won't care, but at least he'll have it if he wants to show his friends. My daughter took along the autograph book she started at WDW and I have pix of her with each character so these will go in that album as well as in whatever 12X12 I end up with.

It is too small to do much else with as the shutter's photo's are too big for it and I don't like the hassle of scanning etc. to reduce the size.
