Looks like I'll be taking a solo trip to WDW in a couple of months. I'ld like to scrapbook the trip bur realise that being alone presents a challange. Anyonne with suggestions on photo ops I should not miss?

Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of doing a treasure album.
http://www.gracefulbee.com/gba/outside/fun/treasureAlbum.html Since you are doing a solo this might make a great view point. They are basically small albums (5X7 or smaller) with photos taken from your favorite vantage points. Then you add journaling of a poem or quote or something that will spark the same feelings and emotions you had. Kind of taking you on a mini vacation in you mind. I really think this would be a great alternative to carrying a magazine or book for those down times.

I think my pages of the various buildings in the World Showcase at Epcot turned out nicely and very few have pictures of my family in them. I really just wanted the buildings. You could also ask another tourist to take your picture but next time I have someone do that for my family I will be more specific about wanting US in the picture more so than the plant next to us. (Long story.) I guess I'd set it up and tell them where to stand.
I don't think pelple have to be in every picture I scrapbook. If it was something we found interesting I'll take a picture. Sometimes people in the picture can detract from the focus of your photo. I did my album for my children, to help them remember the trip, so a lot of my pictures had to do with things they liked. I have a picture of the boat we took to Downtown Disney, various rides, any shows that I could take pictures at, and I even took pictures of flowering plants at AK because I love to flower garden. I have the castle, tree of life, and Epcot ball. I think once you're there you'll start seeing things you'll want to take pictures of.
Have a great trip!!!!

Deb, I know this is about a month after you originally posted the question, but maybe it will help someone else in your situation. My advice is to ask the Cast Members to take your picture. They are always willing (and sometimes even offer), and they do it so often, you'd be pretty sure to get yourself in the pic with the plant!! And probably focused! LOL

Thanks Wiggle

the trip is not til May, so I'm still open for suggestions.
