Okay...I've been scrapbooking for quite awhile but doing it very simply. Now, after watching all the great things you can do to embellish your pages, I now have a big question, though I feel kind of dumb asking it. Here goes...

After you do all the great embellishments, how do you actually place the pages in the scrapbook? Do you still put them in page protectors? It seems almost a waste at that time when you're adding textures and/or popups, etc. If you don't put them in protectors, then how do you place them in from there? This has been bothering me for quite awhile. Please help.

Thanks so much!

I still put them in page protectors. (I don't do the hidden journalling thing, just all the lumpy, bumpy embellishments and stuff.) :) maggie

Ditto what Maggie said. I don't do hidden journaling or pop-up pages, but I do have bulky embellishments and all my pages go into page protectors. I do post bound, so all my pages are in protectors.

Personally, I think all pages should be in protectors. We had a flood here a couple of years ago... the washing machine hose broke in the middle of the night. My XXL was in my kitchen, right around the corner from the laundry room and it was SOAKED!! Although my books were destroyed (wet and eventually molded), my pages were saved because they were in page protectors. :teeth:

Thanks so much for your replies. I think I'll probably stick to the straight scrapbooking with some extras that fit in the protectors. I am years behind on my pages...thanks to 3 children...but am getting there. Some day I'll have more of my "own" time. Thanks again.
