As this scrapping obsession grows, I took a class at my local store, a gal there mentioned that at the shows you can get some really good deals on scrapping supplies.

Has anyone ever been to one? Is it as much fun as they say? I can only go for one day but want to make sure the long ride is worth it. :moped:

If you get any more info I would love to have it! I remember last year there was something in April. It was a company that is out of there. But for the life of me I can't remember who it was or where. I think it was the company that makes Junkizt
Will have to do some searching

Hi, last year they had the Memories Convention here maybe that's what you're thinking of. It was in April, I went and it wasn't that great. There weren't as many vendors as I had thought would be there. (There were only 4 aisles) I did see some new stuff, but it was all regularly priced. The one really good thing was RagShop and Michaels had make and takes, they were awesome! Overall it was ok I just wasn't that impressed.
I took off work last year to go and I don't think I would do it again unless they get more vendors.

PS- Junkits had a summer warehouse sale in the town I live in, it seems they are based out here.

That must be what I was thinking of! If you hear about another sale there could you please let me know! I am about an hour from there and would love to go! Last year I had something going on!

This is what I found. It was listed on Sizzix Website under events finder.
Franne.. could it be the same thing?

Sure, no problem! I couldn't go either but I have a friend who works there and she said she'd let me know when the next one happens :)
