I joined a program and they gave us patches and then Zyban, maybe, it might have not been. I was really detrmined to do it. Biff did it the same time I did.

I wonder how the PA primaries will turn out today -- I am almost scared to look.

Congrats for doing the impossible! I am scared of being a failure at it.

it was fine. 6 years in June.

I would do a Podcast, but that kinda falls under "public speaking" and I don't do public speaking. I would freeze up everytime in college. I dreaded my communications classes. Blah! Its funny to me that I am not a good public speaker because I majored in communications, but I did anything to get out of speaking in front of classes. I never took speech class instead I took interpersonal communications. Haha. Mother nature decided to spare us today...no more rain. It rained two days in a row. Its beautiful outside today! My friend called me last night to tell me after a month of being married him and his wife are having a baby. If you knew him you'd understand why I put that scary face up. Lol. I think she was preggo before the wedding honestly.

And also for the both of you on quitting smoking. I smoked for ten years and quit 14 years ago. I actually hadn’t had any kind of twinge about it for years but was up inner tubing at a place called Diamond Lake a couple of hours from here.

I used to go up there as a teenager and smoked at the time. As me and a friend of mine were heading into the lodge to warm up he crossed in front of me while smoking and I caught this little whiff of it. That mixed with the smell and feeling of the place brought back a VERY unexpected craving for one. Weird how the mind works aye?

I just listened to your podcast – good stuff. Nice info on the different seating options at Pinocchio’s Village Haus, I had no idea. And I really have to plan out next vacation around being able to take my girls to the Pirate and Princess Party And yes, flying bites the big one no matter how you stack it

there r certain things that trigger it but for the most part it is not for me. especially walking behind someone who is smoking, it is nasty.
thank you. I cannot wait to eat there again, I really like it. I want to sit by the window to watch IASW boats next time.

Well, I voted on my way to work around 7:25 this morning & there were ONLY 4 people before me! I could not believe it! On the news in Philly, they're saying the turnout was "good". Take that for what it's worth.

Scott, congrats on quitting the habit! My DH is a longtime smoker & just will not quit! On the other hand, I have never smoked. I keep telling him that if I die of lung cancer I will come back & haunt him for the rest of his life!! Seriously, I know it's not easy, but it just makes sense to quit. Again, way to go!!

I leave for the "home" tomorrow, so I'll have some catching up to do next week!!

whoa... I had a lot to catch up on! Serves me right for neglecting my DIS'ing to help DD with her Latin term paper and mega homework assignments!

She is in the chorus of the high school's production of "Anything Goes" and this is the last week of rehearsals. The schedule is KILLING ME!

I think I'm all caught up now. Chat slower until the rehearsals are finished and this homework load gets lighter, ok? LOL

(I took Spanish for 9 years, and my spanish teacher recommended me for a program where the Latin teacher taught the top 7 people from the other languages (I was the only "Spanish" kid) Latin and a semester of Greek. By the end of the year we were finished with Latin I and Latin II. (And I was done with Spanish III for that year as well). Ok, I'm extremely impressed.

Her Latin term paper is about the dress of women in Ancient Rome in accordance to their place in society. Not too difficult, it's just that she has rehearsals EVERY night this week until 7-8 pm and a full load of homework. (Saturday and Sunday 10-8) Tomorrow the poor kid has FOUR tests. Latin, History, Biology, and Theology! (Theology test is know the 10 commandments, 8 beautitudes, 7 corporal works of mercy and 7 spiritual works of mercy and be able to give examples of ALL of them. Unbelievable! Poor kid is exhausted ! )

it went very well. next tuesday is my next but I will be back there thursday.
