Wow, that looks like a nice place! I have a little sticker shock! You could buy a 5 bedroom lakefront property here for that price!

well sit down

we r in a studio

450 sq ft coop

we can get $325,000 - 350,000 for it.

It is crazy here.

condo studios down the block form us went for $670,000 for 630 sq ft.

the places your going to look at are really nice and pretty! As I would say...YES PLEASE! Lol. Thats what I say when I see something I like. Lol @ what you wrote about escorting me off the boards. Hey the way I see it a girl thinks about two things...disney and weddings. I think thats pretty much a given. :goodvibes Oh and if your me...jewelry. Lol. But I think thats a given too. Most girls I know love the bling. ::yes:: Our apartment here in va is 1699/month not counting utilities or anything like that. Its because we're so close to d.c. We're literally like twenty mins from d.c. So I about had a heart attack when df told me how much we'd be paying since we only paid 900/month in wi. But that was a middle of no where town and this is a very thriving town. Civilization as we call it. Good luck with the hunt. I've also learned not to be fooled by pics b/c they have a way of taking them to make the places look wonderful. Then sometimes you see the place and you don't like it. Although i'm sure the places you looked at aren't like that. Our new place had pics and it looked just like the pics. Good luck! :goodvibes

Love the pics of the potential new places - the first one looked quite spacious for NYC! Let us know what you decide! :)

both places look great Scott. Boy, I thought Toronto was expensive!!
I would lean towards the first one too. :thumbsup2 At double your current space, it will make a big difference. Fingers crossed that the unit is all that you want it to be........then you can just go for it!!

I loved the look of the first one. I live in a condo now, and LOVE it. I would love to vist NYC one day. I keep telling myself that..... :rolleyes1

The one in Inwood loks really great, and it's still in Manhattan, which is pretty sweet.

I think the pics of the ones in Fort Tyron are not as good, but the apartment may be just as nice.

I know it's about 10 minutes further north on the Metro North, but have you guys looked at the new riverside condos in Yonkers? they're really nice and right on the water.

Given a choice, I would stay in Manhattan, though. Best location. :thumbsup2

Inwood is the one we are leaning towards more.
He wants to be on the subway, so too far up.

Oh for crap sake you don't say!

My sis just purchased a condo near you on the river. I think it's 1,200 sq ft. I don't even wanna venture a guess how much they paid!

Our house is 5300 sq ft. Hate to think what that would run in NYC!! :rotfl2:

I know both buildings down there that she bought into and the price is enough to make you fall on the floor. I looked up there prices to see if it doable and no it was not.

Her husband must make some snap. He's the minority owner of LEK Securities. He's the one who wrote their software. I think it's called ROX. :confused3

He's also 25 years older than her. :thumbsup2

Scott,

I love the first one -- especially all those hardwood floors, those countertops in the kitchen, and the sink in the bathroom! It's beautiful!

What a housing choice you have to make! My DSis lived right near Battery Park with a fabulous view of the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately they were only there a year so I didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked however, now we live about 1/2 mile from them! :thumbsup2

I also love that you are pimping TRs but when am I going to find the time to read them all! :confused3 Housework can wait, right?

Personally I prefer the first one. The kitchen is beautiful and I hate being in the kitchen so it must really be nice!
