Does anyone know if I can use the Disney gift cards I bought using my Scotia rewards points at Disney World? It says on the back that they can be used at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, but I am not sure since I noticed some other Canadian DISers posted that cards bought in Canada can't be used there. I searched but couldn't find anything on the boards. Three days left til we drive down, fingers crossed for good driving weather!

If the back says that you can use them at WDW and DL, then maybe they are different cards that would not work in Canada at the Disney stores. They might be the US cards. Good luck!

Scotia rewards points & Disney gift cards?!?! I have a scotia account but didn't know about points or Getting Disney gift cards with them. What type of account is this or is it a credit card?

I didn't know about this either. I just looked it up and yes it says WDW or DL. Neat-time to change my credit card!

Yes you can use them in WDW. We have redeemed several cards and used them without any problem. We have the Scotia Gold Passport Visa.

Is the card the scotiabank Amex gold card ? We renewed our mortgage yesterday. While there they told us this card is on for free right now. Second card is also free. Regularly $99 I think.
I did not sign up, but after reading this maybe I should re consider!!! Not planning a disney trip right now. But love getting free stuff !!!

This is a fantastic card… I have over $550 in rewards already! Saving for flights for our cruise next year.

We love this card. I have saved a bit of money on our trips, but don't really try that hard to collect points. We bought it for the trip cancellation insurance that comes with it. So, as long as I get enough points to cover the annual fee ($99 for first card, $29 each additional), that's all I care about.

5000 points = $50, and you earn 1 pt / $1 you put on the card...except at select dining, gas and grocery stores where you get 4x the points.

We have ordered several Disney cards from the Scotia Rewards program and they have all worked without any problems.

Just looked today and they don't have them. Looks like they are a casualty of exchange rates. At least I have 5 already ..... would have liked to get the 6th one though.
