Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't believe it, but I scored the A&E fp at 30 days out for my family of 4!

The only problem....I've never seen Wishes and its on my absolute must do list for my trip. My fp is 8:40-9:40. If I went right at 8:40....and then tried to go see Wishes afterwards, would I even be able to get a spot to watch?

I really don't want to meet A&E after wishes as I have a 2 year old with me, and I think that she will just be so done after Wishes-I'm very nervous to even push her that far! She loves A&E and the meet and greet is for her, but I'm afraid after she will be so tired it won't be worth it.

Thoughts?

Assuming Wishes is at 9:00p, that would be a tight fit beforehand. If not considering doing A&E after Wishes, then just do A&E and then watch Wishes from Fantasyland (back between Be Our Guest and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train). Not an ideal view with effects on both sides, but you'll still see it and in a relatively uncrowded area.

How does your 2 year old do with fireworks? Has she been close to them before? When DD was 2, she liked our town 4th of July fireworks, but a few months later totally freaked out over the MK fireworks. They are really loud inside the parks. We wound up having to take her inside a building where the noise was muffled and not seeing the fireworks.

Is Wishes at 9? If so, you would most likely have time to see A&E and then watch fireworks from the Fantasyland area. We like them from back there because you feel surrounded, but I'm betting your vision is seeing it over the castle on Main Street. If Wishes is at 9:30, you should have time to see A&E and then get over to Main Street. As far as getting a spot to watch, in my experience on Main Street, even if I'm there early and have what I think is a good spot someone crowds in front of me at the last minute who is usually much taller than me or who is holding up an iPad and recording and blocking my view so I don't know that it really makes that much difference to be there that early.

If you're considering Wishes first, then A/E, keep in mind they need time to clear the area before they let you back again. Not all the paths are blocked during that time, but you can't go through the castle and you can't take the path just to the west of the castle (next to Sleepy Hollow). So think through your access to the area as you're deciding.

I personally would do A&E after Wishes, but you know your child best, and if you think that time won't work for her, then it's probably not a good plan.

I will suggest that you keep checking (daily) for A&E fast passes at different times, even (and especially) the day of. People are constantly changing plans and you might be able to get an earlier time.

Wow thanks everyone, I appreciate the different perspectives.

Honestly, I didn't consider that my 2 year old would be terrified by the fireworks, but it is definitely possible. I should maybe change my expectations.

I just checked Kenny the Pirate and he says Wishes is at 10 that night....so I guess that takes care of that. I don't know why, but I was under the impression Wishes was always at 9!

I think I'll hit A&E right when our window opens, and then maybe grab a spot for Wishes....if we haven't reached meltdown city by then!
