Scooter riders on cruise, need help!

Has anyone taken a scooter on the cruise, either the Wonder or Magic? A poster on the cruise board trip reports could use your help.

I will be taking my Mom next week on the Wonder with a rented scooter from Brevard Medcal. I can post a report once we get back. So far they seem to be very accomodating. I do know the elevators are hard to fit a whole family in and the dining rooms can be tight to navigate. But I called the Dining Room Coordinator and asked for a table near the front of each restaurant. Guest Services on the ship will also let you store and recharge the scooter near them.

We are not sure if it will fit through the stateroom door. But Mom can walk a bit in her cast and with a crutch there.
