scooter rental

My dh & I are going to FL in Sept. We are taking his mother with us & will need to rent a scooter for her so she doesn't have to do much walking. Can anyone give me a phone number as to where we can rent one at any of the Disney Parks? Also, will we need to get a handicap tag for our car so she doesn't have to walk from the parking lot to any entrance?
We will be staying at a resort near Disney.

you cannot reserve a scooter ahead of time in the parks. All rentals are first come first serve. If you go at a popular time, it is possible there will not be ECVs anymore.

You can ask to park on the end of any row, and then ride the tram in. That would be less walking than going all the way from the handicapped parking in some cases.

Agree with KPeveler

If you want to rent from one of the off-site companies, you will be able to have it when you want it and not have to worry about getting one at the parks.
