Scooter rental that can be left with bell services

No we're not. It would be nice to have a choice in vendors but I don't see that we do. We only need an ECV for 2 days, with an early departure so Scooterbug seems like the logical option. I did read reviews and hope we have a decent experience. I appreciate everyone's input
I had one good experience with Scooterbug and one pretty bad. Switched to Gold mobility. They met me in the lobby at OKW on arrival day and I had them collect it on the night before departure after dinner. Then guest services took me to my room using a large golf cart and picked me and my luggage up in the am. Check to see what’s available where you are staying and drop it off the night before. It’s so much less stressful.
 
Apologies for hijacking but I had a similar question and thought maybe those weighing in here would know. I just reserved an ECV for my mom with Scooter Bug because of the flexibility of being able to leave with Bell Services but the confirmation email says we have to pick it up within one hour of when it’s dropped off. Is that enforced?

What hotel? What time? I was never give such an instruction. Scooterbug at CBR and Gold at PBH, Swan and Dolphin.

Could you be reading, or could they intend, to refer to the return process. Return it to bell services within an hour of your scheduled time

CBR and I just picked a noon delivery time without much thought because I didn’t think it mattered! The langue was in an email they sent me with two attachments: 1) a contract and 2) instructions for the scooter. The language was in a blue box in the contract. I’m not sure if I can post a picture but I’ve copied and pasted the language below:

Please ensure Delivery and Pickup locations are correct. Equipment needs to be picked up

Circling back with our experience. Scooterbug was great. No issues with the scooter, never had to be charged. Easy to contact and make changes. Our scooter was already at the resort when we arrived an hour earlier than our reservation. All around happy with them. We did only have it 2 days and it was a huge help for my mom.
 
Shortly after Disney implemented the policy of only allowing Scooter Bug to leave ECVs with bell services, we tried them on our next visit. Very bad experience and we switched back to our usual vendor from them on.

For us, it was worth arranging to meet the driver for drop-off and pick-up to avoid the problems we had with Scooter Bug.

Is there a scooter rental company that is allowed to leave the item at bell services? The ones I've looked at require in person meeting. Thanks!
I read all the negative reviews before my august trip, but ended up using scooter bug because we needed the ECV at bell services. They only gave me half the charging cable, but I was able to get it worked out with multiple phone calls and awesome bell services staff. I just couldn’t swing the fixed time drop off and pick up with our schedule. I will note that if you are staying at a big resort and know your schedule,it might actually be faster to do a direct pick up. I had to ride my ecv to bell services and then trek back to my room at POR to drive home. That took a chunk of time.

With Gold Mobility, you let them know when you plan on arriving and if that changes, just let them know and they adjust, just for future reference.

I thought they were great. I arrived at OKW, had lunch at Olivia’s and waited in a rocker for my scooter to arrive. The driver was supposed to meet me in the lobby but instead text when he was at Bell Services and I came out and collected it. When I was ready to return it I met him in the same place and asked Bell Services for a lift back to my room in the golf cart. They offered to collect me in the morning with my luggage for my flight. It was seamless.

I used Scooterbug once. Short stay. Scheduling issues wouldn’t work with other vendorsThe scooter was OK.

The scooter had an on board charger. I got one wire. One end goes in an outlet The other end plugs directly in the scooter. No external power brick.
