Does anyone know how difficult it is to get around the BWV's with a scooter? Where would you park it? or do they fold up? My bother will be coming with us on our trip to BWV and he will need a scooter to get around..
And I'm not really sure how to plan for it.

Thx...

I am moving this over to our DISabilities where you will find lots of input.

The scooter must be kept in your villa at night where you will recharge it. It is very convenient as there is a lot of walking at the BWV's. You can drive it right onto the boats for Epcot and the Studios, too. Good luck!

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

First thing is I have never had a problem in parking a scooter in any room on property, including the value resorts. So in a villa there will be tons of room.

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. I think you will find Post #2 most useful for you.

Or, if you want an easier route, click on the link in my signature.

For the last couple of years I have used a ECV at WDW. BWV is very ECV friendly. I finally bought one this year so I don't have to rent anymore. The ECV will fit easily in your room.

What size villa will you have?
You may need to move some furniture slightly to make a parking spot for it near an outlet. I would suggest bringing an extension cord with you. That would allow you to bring the outer to the scooter.

Also, one thing to keep in mind is that the entrance to the Boardwalk lobby is on one level (that is where you would catch the bus to MK, AK and DD). The entrance to the boardwalk itself is down on level. It will be very important for you to know where all the elevators are. Other than that BW is very easy to get around. You can either take boats between BW, Epcot and the Studio or there is a very nice, wide walking path along the wate to both parks. Nice and scooter friendly whether you take the boats or walk.
