Does anyone lock up their scooter when not in use? My son just got a new scooter. My husband found out that a lot of the same keys can operate a scooter, he is worried about theft accidentally and purposely. What do you do to ensure that no one takes your scooter? We were thinking of taking a bike lock and folding seat down and somehow wrap to chain to steering wheel. I know it seems over-protective but my husband thinks it entirely possible that someone would buy extra keys and just go in to take scooters to resell them. I don't agree but I told him that I would ask. For what it is worth though on our last cruise elderly people were getting on wrong scooters by dining room all the time and complaining to wait staff someone stole their scooter. I think when you have so many scooters from same rental company all sitting next to each other and key works on all of them it can be honest mistake.
