After a lengthy build up, I took my son while in WDW last Sunday to see Scoop's seminar. I have not seen it myself, so it was to be a good opportunity for us both, and also for us to have some "one-on-one" time, which David really needs given everything going on with his sister.

Anyway, we went to Exposition Hall at 1:00 and waited until 2:00. Scoop didn't show. Unforuntately, the CMs there had no information or explanation on where he was and why he wasn't there. There were a few other traders there as well waiting for the seminar.

I was really dissapointed and so was David. Does this happen often?

Hi Sharon,

I am so sorry that you did not get to see Scoop last Sunday. This is not something that happens often, but does from time to time. I am just sorry that the time you were there was the time it happened. I do know from being in the World the week before you that he was on Special Assignment covering doings at MNSSHP and that this affected his days at the MK. One way to be sure is to check at City hall in Guest Services and ask about his schedule.

Unfortunately the CMs over at Exposition seem to not get the word that Scoop can't make it. I know that at times he gets reassigned if someone else fails to show up (like at the diamond horshoe) and he always leaves word to make sure that the people over there know he won't be able to make it that day but for some reason it doesn't get passed on. Scoop is never late so if he isn't there by 1:15 - 1:30 you know he won't be there. I am truly sorry you missed it and I hope you will have another opportunity to catch his talk.

3kids4me,
This isn't going to end this way. Please post your email address, or another way to contact you.

I can not just sit back, and let this happen.

I was wondering the same thing. I was there for the seminare on Thurs. Oct 31st and couldn't find it. After wandering around Exposition Hall looking lost and asking different people that looked like they worked there, I finally found a CM that knew a little about the seminar and he called and found out that Scoop wasn't scheduled to start that day until 2:45 and that there probably wouldn't be a seminar that day. What a bummer because I added an extra day on the front of my vacation so I could go to the seminar and then there wasn't any. Guess I'll have to hope there are still seminars when I get back in two years.
