Scooby..... ?

ok, it's been awhile, obviously, since I've posted/read....

Anyone remember Scooby? He was part of a transpo co, I think, fresh out on his own.... we caught him at a "DIS good time" when he was highly recommeded..
Is he still? Recommeded? Anyone remember him? I met him personally during one of our trips, probably 2002 or one of those shortly thereafter, he gave us that extra something that you don't get unless from a referral.. SO.... I have kids, older now, yes, but that remember him too.. and I'd like to use for a private "shuttle" from here to there, always looking to give my business to those "deserving", any updated info on him or his......

Maybe it would come up in a search? I can't recall a person named scooby in the orlando car transportation business. Maybe he would be remembered on the transportation board?

He gave..... great, true, Disney, family vacation service, that is it. Which, on a board, and in a city where everyone wants/claims to give you that, it is enough.
I'm going back years, someone DOES remember Scooby, good or bad, give it to me....

Ahhhh OK, if thats all I guess thats all. Did he drive a limo or a town car? I'll see if I can dig up anything with a search.

I've tried the search thing.. it's giving me scooby doo... NOT who I'm lookin for
He drove/was part of a town car service. I belive he left the "company" he worked for and went out on his own. DIS gave him a shot, a referral, this was back when DIS was "smaller" that was the way it was done, I remember when aqdvertising WAS word of mouth... many mouths maybe, but mouths nonetheless... I just wonder if he's (Scooby, carried on, went forth, so to speak, or was washed out, taken over, blah blah, like so many are)
Like I said, 2005 maybe, 2004 or 2006, we used him. He was great, referred, friendly, dependable, funny, personable, blah blah blah.... I'm a stranger in a big town and looking for that "connection" DIS gave me that, I'm looking for an update/referreral on him if there is one.....
Just wondering if there is any info... planning, nosey, curious, info-seeking... that's me. Cuz if I'm giving my bucks and lookin for connection, my first choice is an "old friend"
Scooby was one. For a day or two...

YES!! Not only do I remember Scoobey, we just saw and rode with him last month!!!


We too started with him and Atlantis Limo way back when they were DIS sponsors - I think our first trip with him was in 2000. We've used his services almost on a yearly basis since then. Almost like seeing an old friend when we see his sign at the bottom of that escalator in the Orlando airport!
