Scooby Doo dissing Mickey

We took our youth group to Six Flags last weekend in St. Louis. My husband and I were swinging for WDW, but our church can't afford to pay for a trip to FL for all the kids.

Anyway, my DH was wearing his Mickey fanny pack, Grumpy tank top, and he also has a Mickey tattoo on his left upper arm.

When we got off the Scooby Doo ride, Scooby was there and grabbed my husband and pointed to the shirt and the fanny pack and shook his head while crossing his arms. Then my DH said, "Sorry Scooby. . .you're getting there, but Mickey is the man!" and then he showed Scoob the tattoo. Scooby shook his finger at DH and stomped his foot.

It was hilarious and made DH feel not so bad for "cheating" on the mouse.

We were ar AK for the meet in greet out front. My DS5 was had just gotten someones autograph, when pluto and his handler walked by. We had lectured the kids about not trying to get autographs until they get set-up at thier station so my DS just waves at Pluto as he walked by. Pluto waves,and walks by. Takes about 3 more steps, and runs back to my DS and goes absolutely balistic. Throwing a huge fit over something. Finally, we decipher that he his pointing at DS' hat. My DS takes of his hat and hands it to Pluto he immediately throws it down and stomps on, then turns arounds and leaves.

Pluto absolutely rocks! In a grudge match with Scooby, he'd win on intellect alone.

We live within 40 miles of the Six Flags in St. Louis, so we have gone at least once a year every year. We went on our first Disney trip this past September and our family loved it. Two weeks ago we made our yearly trip to Six Flags and I have to say we were very under whelmed! I guess because we had never been to any other parks we didn't know how run down our Six Flags was becoming. Maybe you should have told Scooby that if he provided you a hat to wear you would wear it on his ride to protect you from the gum incrusted ceiling on his ride! There was gum EVERYWHERE and on everything. It was nasty!. I'm not sure if we will go back next year or not, but I do know that we will not be going back this year. All I can hope for your group is that you did not pay full price

We were just at Hershey Park this week and DH had a Disney's Hilton Head Resort shirt on. At the entrance turnstiles the security looks at my DH and says 'for that shirt you pay double to get in' !

Goofy gave my DS the business last summer for wearing a Spiderman t-shirt, too.

Sounds like it works both ways!
