Sci Fi- Will will still have fun?

When I went to make my ADR for this I told them we have a party of 7. She indicated that the cars only seat 6 comfortably and we will now need two cars or 4. Do you think this will be okay>? Will we be able to speak with each other?

There was a large group of nine there in January. They seated them in two cars, but the cars were right next to each other.

Think of a drive-in movie, where two cars share one speaker stand. So the passenger side of one car is inches away from the driver's side of the car next to it. It was easy for the group to talk back and forth between the two cars.

We got to share a car with this group, so I can vouch for my information. And we had a lot of fun with them as well.

Sci-Fi is not really the place to hold an ealborate conversaion. It is dark and the restaurant is set up like a drive-in theatre with movie screen playing the entire time. Even if you are a family of four, two people are in the front and two people are in the back. My DF and hardly talk when we go there because his eyes are glued to the screen, but is still a ton of fun. I think if you want to have fun and don't mind splitting up for one meal, it is def. worth it. Love the food and the atmosphere.

Oh and BTW, my DF and I are very tall and slender and I would NOT want a person between us while eating, so I have no idea why the cast member said 6 to a car.

who is Will (heheh just kidding guessing you meant "we")

the cars are spread apart by a good sized row so it would be hard to talk across the aisle with out getting up or yelling and bugging every one around you i think. however i would think you could fit 3 kids in one row if any are kids. the car we were in held 6 adults ( 3 rows of 2 ) and i am sure 3 grade schoolers could fit in one seat/row. i dont' recall any where 2 cars sat right beside each other but it's dark so maybe they do have some

after i saw the pic. i was on the big aisle seat side and just thought both were the same sorry. the car beside us must have been empty cause no one was beside my husband.( the whole place was empty which made the 2 hr wait for the entire meal really annoying)

These are your seats at the Sci Fi. Everybody faces the same direction and it's 2 to a seat. Not a great set up for conversation even if all of you are at one table.

We have a ressie for 15. So I guess they split you up. I'm sure that we will have to be split up. We just want to be able to eat at the end of the day.
