Sci-fi Theater: good, or bad?

We went for dinner, had the backseat of car. Above poster is correct it is pretty small table area. The food was.......pretty bad. The service was worse, but it was in December. My DH who is game for just about anything said we will only go back for their shakes. It was a new experience for us, ok for the atmosphere. I was glad the kids were not with us, because they would think it was cool and want to go back. So maybe the answer is try it, especially if you have kids.

We have been there for lunch everytime we go to the studios. May not be the greatest place on Earth but its easy for us and I would definately recommend it to everyone at least once. Everyone's tastes are differant and if its not to your liking don't go again. Good Luck

Defintely worth it. I had the shrimp pasta which was good. I forget what everyone else had, but they ate it all! We had 2 11 yr old boys with us and they loved the atmosphere...so did DH and I. The shakes were really good, too!

As for the size of the car tables, they are small, but I was worried because DH is a big guy, 300+ and all in his belly! We didn't have a problem, in case that may be a concern for you or anyone else reading this.

Sci Fi is a cool place with great theming and just so-so food. It's very dark in there so don't plan on reading your guide map or anything. The movies are great old flicks, nothing too scary at all. Ask for a table in the middle or back, we sat right up front and the huge screen was right in our face. My 2 boys loved the place, the cars were fun for them. Eat a burger and shake and you'll be happy, any other food item will be up for grabs on quality. Take your picture in the car in front of the place.

Just OK. Without a doubt the food is overpriced. The food is decent, but not great. The atmosphere is great, that is what you are paying for and it is worth it. This is a place that is great to do once, but it's not really worth going back to.

we just ate there a couple of days ago. the atmosphere is AMAZING! kids will love the idea of sitting in a car and watching old flicks. however, we found that the tables were sticky, the service was inattentive, and the food was average at best. it's definitely worth a visit, however, if you don't go in expecting a great meal.
