We have an ADR here Wednesday. I have eaten here before and remember the cars are a bit snug seating. This is ok for us, but my DSister is a large woman. Do they have seating to accommodate larger guests???

They do have tables and chairs "inside" a car. That would be the best option. Basically the front bumper and back bumper are there and the table is in the middle of those.

So with my sister being over 350 lbs she should fit ok in the middle? There are 6 of us and I'm such a planner...plus I don't want her to be embarrassed either.

It's a table. It's not the cars you think of when you picture the place. Picture a car cut apart. One table where the front of the car is and another table where the back of the car is.

The problem is that we were told that those tables, as well as the totally normal tables in back (themed like tables at the back of a drive in near concession stands) are for walkins.

That said, they are pretty good about figuring out if someone can't sit at the normal cars. The normal cars are booths, fit 2 or 3 in the booth, and you face forward.

We have eaten there briefer, just not with my sister. I'll see what the CM says when we check in. I just don't want my sister to be embarrassed.

There is also a model car out front of the restaurant. Folks use it for a photo op, but your sister could also try sitting in it to see how comfortable she is. Otherwise, as the PP said, there are some table (normal type tables) with car front/end (they're often used for handicap/wheelchair accessibility parties). There are also picnic style tables in the back that might be an option.

Simply request a town car at check in

Sci fi is one of our favorites ! We have three in our party, which means we've only been sat as 2in 1row and 1in another row. Same car of course. It just makes it odd turning around backwards to grab appetizers or whisper to someone. :) anyone ever sat more than 2across? (We are average sized if that makes a difference.)

I ate here today and I will say, as a 265 woman, this is the tightest booth I have ever sat in. I squeezed in because dd10 really wanted to sit in the car. I asked the waitress if any booths or rows had more to and she said no, but offered the previously mentioned car with regular chairs or picnic table. I recommend you request the town car with the regular chairs. Have fun!

I've sat two adults and one child (there were five of us, 3 adults & 2 kids). I would guess three adults wouldn't be possible

We are two adults and a tween. Been there a few times since he was a baby, and always have been sat 2 and 1 in different rows. Maybe some cars are narrower and some are wider? We're always put in the ones that seem Luke they're for 4 maximum, 2 in each row. Maybe some sit 3 across in each row for a party of 6? I'll have to spy more attention next time we're there. It certainly won't keep us from going! :)

That's very considerate of you to think of her and not want her to be embarrassed. You're a very nice sister.

I was thinking the same thing, how kind of you to be concerned ahead of time. I too have a larger sister. Large people don't need to be constantly reminded or embarrassed about their size, they already know even if they have been unable to change. I hope your family has a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Thank you! I will do that!

Thank you!!!! I live my sister very much so of course I care about her feelings:)

I consider my fiance and I two pretty average sized adults, and WE find it to be small. The "table" part is very narrow to begin with, your plate barely fits on it. Plus you're right up to it. I'd imagine it would be very uncomfortable for anyone that's even a little overweight.

Had our lunch there yesterday and the town car was perfect!!!! Thank you to all for your help!!!
