Sci Fi or Prime Time

Which do you prefer for lunch in DS for a family of 4 (Mom Dad DS13, DD19) - Sci Fi or Prime Time? I'd consider brown Derby but food selection at others might be better for the kids?

For lunch? Sci-Fi. We used to do PT for dinner, but have been skipping it the past few trips. We always do Sci-fi for lunch. Burgers and shakes and awesome atmosphere!

We did both on our last trip.
I prefer the food more at Prime time. Sci fi is cool..food ok.

Sci-Fi is a little more fun however we have not had good luck with their food. Prime Time, on the other hand, is a "must do" for us (we really enjoy the food, especially the Pot Pie) and it can be fun too if you have a good waiter.

The sci-fi has an awesome atmosphere, but the food tastes like feet. We went last year after reading reviews thinking, "It's just burgers and stuff. How bad could it be?" We found out.

I booked Sci fi for an early lunch and just plan on going at that time for treats/desert. That was a tip I read...and you get the atmosphere cheaper. I saw that there are plenty of things for around $5 on the menu that you can get...and atleast see it(without having to worry about your food). I figure you'd pay that much a a food cart for a snack/drink etc.

I would only recommend Prime Time if the kids will be "into" it. There's lots of interaction from the CMs, who are your extended "family" and not just servers! Shy people will have a tough time of it.

We done both and like both, but if we had to choose one over the other, the vote would go to Sci-Fi.

your kids will love the cheesey B-movie clips and the burgers are the best on property IMHO!!! Food at 50's was great but we didn't have an active waiter & lost the fun of the place.

We have fun at both, but prefer 50'sPTC for the food. It's hard to beat their roast beef.

My kids have always enjoyed the Brown Derby. I would definitely choose 50's between the other two. I think the menu and the food is better. You can check out the menu's by clicking on the dining link above.
