We will be at HS on the afternoon/evening of October 10th. I would like to have a good seat for the fantasmic show since there is only one that evening. We are taking our girls for their first visit and birthday. No one in our party has seen the fantasmic show.

I have a ADR for Sci-fi at 5:30. I also just booked at H&V Fantasmic dinner at 5:30. If the price difference for H&V worth the priority seating?

I have never done the package and have been contemplating this myself for our trip in Nov. I am sticking with my Sci-Fi and planning to try and get a seat for Fantasmic around 5:30...the show is at 6:30 on my day. We have seen Fantasmic before and sat WAYYY up top and still saw everything. If you are certain that you would rather have good seats over your dining experience, then I would pick H&V if I were you. Maybe see if a Mama Melrose package is available.

Thank you! I think I would prefer Mama Melrose, but none have opened for the time.

My other question would be, since there is only one show that night, is it possible that we won't get a seat? I really don't want to try to sit and wait for on hour with 2 five year olds :)

The first two weeks in October shouldn't be too crowded...but I am not positive. The last time we went to Fantasmic there were two shows and it was during the summer I believe. I can understand you not wanting to wait with young children! Have you checked the crowd calendar for the day you are going? Sometimes I look at those when deciding how busy a park will be on certain days. But just to be sure you get a seat, without waiting, I would go with the package.

just to confirm, fantasmic is at 6:30 and your dinner ressie is for 5:30? even with the VIP seating, you should be at the theatre a half hour before the show starts, so that only leaves you 30 minutes to eat and get from the restaurant to the theatre. although I think the F! packages are definitely worth the cost (MM or HBD moreso than H&V), I think for a 6:30 F! show you'll want a much earlier meal (I'd aim for 4:00).

The fantasmic show on 10/10 is at 8pm. I currently have a 5:30 ADR at H&V with the package. That should work right? I will keep looking for MM, but I think I am going to keep this and cancel the Sci-Fi ADR.

oops, my fault for reading too fast on a small screen! I just mixed a couple posts up. I think 2 hours is plenty of time to eat (plus it gives you a bit of a cushion in case there's a delay seating you) and get to the theatre.
