Sci-Fi onion rings question!

I love onion rings!

But I've only ever eaten small onion rings.

The photos I've seen of the Sci-Fi onion rings make them look MASSIVE!

Is it like biting into a whole onion?! Because... ew!

And, are they oily? Because they look a bit oily and yucky in photos...

Is there at least a yummy sauce or dip that goes with the onion rings?

I'm also excited about trying the BBQ Chicken Breast sandwich for my main - but that comes with onion straws too!! I don't want to be stinky onion girl all afternoon at MGM!

If I decide not to go with the onion rings, which other appetizer is yummy?

I had the BBQ chicken breast sandwich with the onion straws last time at Sci-Fi and it was AWESOME! I can't to have it this year. We also got the onion rings, which we loved. DW is not a big onion fan, but loves onion rings. She thought these were among the best she has ever had. I don't remember them being overly greasy.
The spinach and artichoke dip was also very good. Even DDs enjoyed this.
