I was just looking on allears and noticed that there are things on the Sci-Fi lunch menu that aren't on the dinner- is that right??? Is dinner really that limited... I have reservations for dinner but if the menu is that limited.. I'm going to try to call back and get lunch..

Several people have been disappointed with the dinner at Sci-Fi and I am one of them. I prefer lunch and just get a ham sandwich. Nothing special, but it's better than some of the other offerings. They USED to have awesome potato chips, I think they were rosemary and olive oil or rosemary and garlic??, but they've been replaced by cucumber melon salad (blech!).

Cheers!

Not a big fan of the food at Sci-fi, but my DH ordered a burger from the lunch menu for dinner and they made it for him.

FYI, the artichoke dip was great, could have been a meal for me, the rueben was ok, nothing to write home about. Fries were, as post after post warned me, cold. The shakes were good, though. Glad I was on the free dining plan; I would have cried if I had to pay that much for that meal. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth $80 for all of us to eat. Mind you, we wouldn't have ordered the appetizers or desserts oop, so it would have been less.

Check out the specific menu choices on allearsnet.com. What you've seen might be an abbreviated selection list.
We eat there exclusively for lunch, so I've no personal experience with the dinner menu. LOVE THIS PLACE :cheer2: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We had dinner there in May and we had lots of choices. DH and I had an AMAZING chicken sandwich with fries and we split a salad. We were worried about our dinner there b/c we had heard so many bad reviews but we were VERY happy with our food there.

We were not given a lunch menu at dinner, but the server said we could order a burger. I agree the artichoke dip is delicious!!! The portions were large and overall our meal was pretty good!

We also changed out adr from dinner to lunch. We have been there for lunch before and really enjoyed it, but didn't think we would enjoy the dinner as much.

Are the fries really always cold? My wife would be extremely unhappy if she were served cold limp fries!

Disney's wonderful chefs almost always will be willing to whip-up whatever you wish, if they know how to make it and have the ingredients available. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that sometimes they may charge a dinner price at dinner, even for something that is on the lunch menu.
