Just wondering if anyone goes to Sci Fi just for the milkshakes and french fries? :confused3 I am just not sure if this would be frowned upon.

We are doing a short girls weekend. We only have a 1/2 day at HS. I want to get ADR's at Mamma Melrose, but I also want my friend to experience Sci Fi. The last time we did MM for a late lunch and dinner at Sci Fi I could barely eat anything at the Sci Fi. I felt like I wasted a TS credit and could just pay OOP for a shake and fries. Thanks!

Why not??!! If you can get in I would. You are paying like anyone else so order whatever you want.:thumbsup2

Sure you can! That sounds like a great way to experience Sci-Fi.:thumbsup2 50s also has great shakes but your waiter probably would give you a "hard time" for eating dessert first. ;)

What you're describing is allowed and actually quite common. It's no secret the food at Sci-Fi is lackluster, but the atmosphere is appealing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with making a reservation and just ordering milkshakes. They go great with the onion rings!

Go for it. I feel as long as you have a reservation & give a tip you are just as welcome as anyone else there ordering a full meal.
