Sci -Fi in DHS,any good?

My wife picked out the Sci- Fi in DHS,,has anyone eatten there. I was wondering if the food is good and what do you suggest..Thanks

Sci-Fi has the best ambience! It's also a great place to cool off and wind down after a long day in the park. My husband always gets the ribs. The first time they were great, but last time they were average. The portion size is pretty large. You could split it, especially if you were going to have appetizers or desserts. The sundaes are yummy! Make sure that you make an ADR! Enjoy!

I agree.... We like lunch at Sci-Fi. It's cool and on the quiet side. A nice break from the hub bub of the park.

We loved the Sci Fi when we were there for lunch in June. The Angus burger was amazing.

This a regular of ours on our trips. My kids love sitting in the cars and watching corny movies while eating in the dark. Everyone has different opinions on the food and most will tell you only order the hamburger and fries, but I had the ribs last time and they were really good. I love the sauce and asked for extra. The desserts are great too. I had this chocolate tart with chocolate and is melted in my mouth. The shakes also are really good and thick. You will like this restaurant.

My family and I recently visited for first time, as many suggested we ordered the burgers and they were good, we had a chocolate martini for dessert and it was great, love the atmosphere and will be going back on next visit.

I had ribs when we were there and while they were decent is wasnt something any different from TGI Fridays or Ruby Tuesdays etc.

The atmosphere is cool and it really does feel like an entirely different place from the busy park.

Sci-Fi is one of our favorite restaurants. Recommend you go for lunch. We loved the hamburgers. The air-conditioned restaurant was a welcome relief from the hot weather. The kids will enjoy sitting in a car and drive-in for lunch.

Can't wait to go in September.

We had a really positive experience at Sci-Fi! We had the best service of our trip here and the food was good. The restaurant itself is really fun and different! We both ordered ceasar salads which were good and we shared a milk shake at the end of the meal for dessert! Our server tied the straws to look like a heart for me and DBF which was cute. She also offerent to take a lot of pics of us in the car! It's simple food, but was a fun experience!

Yup must agree. I ate at the Sci-fi for the first time last May and Loved it, its fun and different and the milk shakes are amazing

Sci-fi is our FAVORITE!!!

People have mixed reviews about the food which I never understood because I have always enjoyed it, but maybe it's because I just love the atmosphere so much.

My favorite used to be the chicken sandwich topped with onion rings but they didn't have it last time we were there... . I got the hamburger instead and it was really really good!

Sci-Fi is one of the restaurants I always make an ADR for lunch. As others have said it has a wonderful atmosphere that DH & I never get tired of.

My DBF and I love Sci Fi!!! We've booked it for our trip in September for Dinner!! My favorite is the Steak Dinner and you MUST get the Chocolate Tart!! It is probably my Favorite WDW Dessert!!! You'll have so much fun!!

We enjoy the atmosphere and food... We are simple eaters and Sci-Fi has simple foods... Keep your food order simple...They have good burgers and chicken sandwich and their vanilla shakes are terrific... We have been three times in the past year and a half and plan to go back again next trip.... The kids stay quiet the entire time because they are so busy watching the movies... It is a nice break for DH and I....The movies keep them quiet instead of us!

I would pretty much agree with this. We have eaten here a few times. While we love the atmosphere, the food is really nothing to write home about. If you are looking for an experience, eat here. If you are looking for good food, eat somewhere else.

We had an early dinner here one night during our stay, and I didn't particularly enjoy it. The atmosphere was definitely fun, but there are so many other great places to eat in Disney. I went to Sci-Fi once, and it was enough for me. Trying it can't hurt, though! You may find a new favorite restaurant.
