From reading posts - Sci-Fi looks like a great place to cool off for some ice cream, on a hot summer day.

If we do just ice cream at Sci-Fi, do we need an ADR ?
Should we specify on our ADR it is just for dessert ?
Does the staff of Sci-Fi get upset if you only order dessert ?

Thanks !

Sci-Fi is a very large place, and even though we've gone at busy times we've always been able to get seated with no problem. I can't imagine you'd need an ADR there, but if you do make one you certainly don't need to mention about getting ice cream only. Lots of people do that, simply to enjoy the atmosphere.

Sci Fi can be pretty busy most any time of year, so I would make an ADR even if it's just for dessert. I don't think they would get upset if you ordered just dessert. ::MinnieMo

Make the ADR and NO you dont' have to tell them that your not eating dinner, we do it all the time. And who cares if they get upset, they are there to take your meal order and to serve you!

We were unable to get what we wanted in the way of ADRs. You do have to be flexible. And, no, I wouldn't bother mentioning it was just for dessert.
