Sci Fi Diner seating question

I have read that the car tables possibly seat 6? What would they do with a party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids-age 6, 9, 12, so not small)? The party is actually 2 families, one with 3 and the other with 4, so maybe we would divide up that way, but I also read that if you have 3 you may not be in a car? Thanks in advance!

My DS is 7 years old and we had no trouble fitting all together in one row of seats in the car. I'm sure the kid's could all sit together very comfortably and the adults could each take a row.

We had an ADR for our party of 11. Half of us were put in a car, the other half were put at a table near the back.

I,too, am curious as to how it is determined who is put in a "car".

I hope that's true (but I doubt it). We're a party of 3 and we really dont want to be sitting at one of the little tables in the back.

We ate there two weeks ago with our party of seven. We had wo adults in the rear seat, two adults and a 12yo in the middle, and two adults in the front, fit just fine. Have fun!

We were a party of 8 (2 families) 2 weeks ago. They asked if we wanted to cram together or be placed in 2 cars right next to each other. We took the 2 cars option. We were 4 adults, 1-8yo, 2-12yo, 1-14 yo. It was much more comfortable. I suppose that we could have crowed together, but we wanted to be able to use our arms to eat!
