Sci-Fi Dine In Question regarding ressies for big group....

If I needed an ADR for a group of 12 at Sci-Fi I'm guessing they split the group into 2 cars of 6?? Or should I just book 2 separate reservations for 6 We want to be near each other if possible, of course.

I need to know this also...more because we want cars...not the regular tables in the back of the restaurant...but we are 9 people not 12

Just book it under one reservation and request the cars at the podium. They will seat you in cars next to or behind one another.

Thanks! I haven't eaten there in years and we were a party of two, so it's going to be interesting making ADR's for a larger group.

I have eaten there twice with large groups.

The first time there were 12 of us. One group of 6 sat in a car and the other 6 were in one of the table cars behind the other group. Not ideal but we'd been waiting for about 30 minutes, this was the last day of our trip and everyone just wanted to sit down and eat. I believe that reservation was for around 6:30 on a Sunday evening.

The next time there were 8 of us. They seated us in cars next to each other (4 in each car) and it was great. That reservation was in the middle of the afternoon, around 3:30 or 4:00, on a Thursday afternoon so the restaurant wasn't as busy as the previous time.

We love the atmosphere at this restaurant. Have a great time!

Thanks! I was hoping that would be the case! We ate here our first trip ever in 2006...were not thrilled then didn't go back for a while. Now, we have gone out last 3 trips and it is back on the favorite list! BUT...you MUST sit in a car! LOL
