The only PS I made was for Sci-Fi on Weds, 1/25. DH and I wanted to try it out and see if the kids might want to try it when we go next year with them. We showed up to be told they weren't open. We had to step inside to book somewhere else if we wanted. As we stood inside the door deciding what we wanted to do we heard the 2 guys talking and asking a 3rd guy what they should tell people and were coming up with some wild ideas, one being that there was an explosion.
They never told us why it was closed and it is one of those questions that is bugging me, especially since we heard their wild ideas of what they should tell us. Anyone know?

Waiting to hear the skinny on this......

We had an ADR for 1/25. When we arrived for our reservation we were told the sewer line broke and they would be closed for the day.

We were there a couple of years ago when they closed during the day citing a broken sewer line ?

I was told the same thing. I could not smell anything. The real stinch was at seven seas lagoon at MK. Standing on the train station watching Wishes was awful with the stink from what smelled like rotten fish oil.

I went there on a whim on the 23rd hoping to get in without an ADR. It was closed - didn't hang around for an explaination. Walked up to ABC Commisary. That was closed, too. Both at a bunch of CMs at each door to prevent people going in. Went to 50's Prime Time - duh, that's closed for rehab.

Needless to say, I didn't eat at MGM that day. Wasn't riding any rides, just really needed to eat, so it was a PIA to go all that way for nothing!

Cheers!
