Are The Cars At Sci Fi A Tight Squeeze? I Don't Want To Get There And Have My Kids Get Upset That We Can't Sit It One Because Of Pooh Sized Me.

It is a bit of a tight squeeze. But when we went, DH was wearing 56 or 58 size pants and he fit. Not very comfortably, but he fit. So, it's up to you! Have fun though! It's the only thing that was tight for him. - :smooth:

when you booked which car did you ask for? Was it the one that was actually a car? if so then they will fit two adult sized people per seat, or three small children. Make sure that when you get there that they have given you the seat yo wanted. When we were there in Dec. we waited 1/2 hour past or reserved time and they sat us in a car that only had the front and back and tables in the middle. Mykids we very upset because they wanted to sit in an actual car . We wer facing sideways and could not sit and watch the movie also sat with another family, two tables were in the same front and back of car and they were about 4 inches apart. very dissapointing.

The food here is really good! I had an outstanding BBQ sandwich with onion straws on it. Yum! Here's a picture of my girls in our pink Caddy. We were all the way over on the right. It's a fun restaurant!

I have a 48 waist and was able eat fairly comfortably in one of the cars. It was a little tight but not that bad. They have tables there if you want to bypass the car. I've eaten at a SciFi table before with my wife and three kids and we had just as awesome a time as I did in the car. The theme is a 50s style drive-in movie theater. So the tables are set up like the old picnic tables at the drive-in. Enjoy!

It's only just slightly tighter than your average booth, really.

If it's going to be a problem, ask for one of the setups with chairs instead of booths. They usualy reserve these for larger parties if I remember correctly as they're all 6+ people, but if you have less than that and you need it they may make an exception.

I have an adr for sci fi but I didn't specifically request a car when I made the reservation--do you need to do so?
