Sci-Fi cars/booths

Hi everyone. I have an odd question about the cars at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. Hubby and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary and decided to change our flight plans to leave a little earlier - leaving me with the decision of where to eat dinner for our first night. The pics I have seen of Sci-Fi look so fun! But the booths look tight...

Anyway, hubby is kind of a big guy - not tall but nice sized belly. Is he going to be uncomfortable? When we go to a restaurant, we always request a table because he is uncomfortable in a booth. His belly always hits the table! (Not that I am a skinny minny or anything!)

Any help is appreciated! This is only my second time going to Disney World, and I'm hoping it's just as magical as the first time I went!!

They have tables with regular chairs

When you get there make the decision. You can take a look at the cars and request a table then if that is what you need.

My husband is a big guy too and he fits into the car.

i fit fine....and I am by no means small (6'3, 360ish)...haha BUT my biggest complaint about the car booths are the lack of table space, your plate more or less touches the dashboard or the seat in front of you

After years of getting a car, last year we got a table. I thought it wouldn't be the same and that maybe it would take away some of the fun, but I liked the table better. The cars don't have much room for table/counter space. Your plate and drink have a tight fit. Much more room at a table.

The tables are pretty roomy. I seem to remember my DS used to have to sit on his knees when he was younger to get to his food.
