I've been having schwans come for quite a few years now and have tried many of their items. When my husband goes out of town on business, I buy their meals because they are quick and easy, and my kids love them. Last time we got the turkey and mashed potatoes, and tried the chili-mac for the first time.
We almost always have their multi-grain bread loaves, popcorn shrimp & chicken pot pies in our freezer.
I sometimes buy stuff for lunches, like pizzas, quesadillas, etc.
And occaisionally I'll buy some of their Bright Starts breakfast items.
Their baby bakers potatoes are good, and my kids love their steam bag carrots.
I try not to buy the desserts or white bread items, but when I do they are pretty good. I know lots of people buy their ice cream, but that's not something I think is worth paying extra for.
It's all good. If it's between getting something from there or going out for dinner, something from there is cheaper than going out. Sometimes the convenience is worth it.

And some things, like their popcorn shrimp & pot pies, are just higher quality than I can find in the grocery store. It definitely is cheaper to eat schwans popcorn shrimp than all of us heading out to Red Lobster.
I've only ever been disappointed in a few items. I bought blueberry muffins, and they had hardly any blueberries. We got some chicken legs that were more fatty than usual. And there was one flavor of frozen yogurt that just wasn't that good.
