It is by far the choice for beef for this carnivore. The portions are huge so you can split the sides. Some say the atmosphere is stuffy, but I don't see it that way.

This is the major leagues, YSH to me, if single A.

The best steak I've ever had.... however... with dinner for two... one drink each, split a dessert ... and tip... was $250. A little steep for me to do on a regular basis! :confused3

IMHO, Shula's is the best steak/beef place at WDW. But, our dinners for 2 run between $120 and $160, with drinks, dessert, and tip. Steep price, yes, but excellent quality. Not an every night meal, but worth it for the vacation splurge.

Wow.... is the Shula's in Orlando priced differently? We went over Christmas last year... the tip was a full 20%, rounded up... so our dinner was just over $200. Everything is priced separately... oh my... did I misread my bill? :rotfl2:

Let me add that the reason I remember so distinctly is I got STIFFED for the bill on a date!!!

We found Shula's at the Dolphin not as good as Shula's in Miami. The best steak on property is still the charred NY strip at Flying Fish but the quality and choice of steak at Shula's in unparrellelled at WDW if steak and varying ci=uts of steak is what you're looking for.

Oh, and the bill will be large.

We ate here in September for our 10th anniversary. Even with the free dining plan, my husband was dying to eat here! The steak was superb, my DH had a salad with the largest beefsteak tomatoes I've ever seen in my life (I even took a picture of them!). The tea was even so good we took 3 more bottles of it home. For dessert we had the creme brulee for 2 and when the check came, our server had the $13 dessert removed from our bill on account of our anniversary- classy. Anyway, with 2 steaks, a salad, 2 drinks, and the 3 take home teas the bill was about $120 before the tip. Well worth it- once in a lifetime meal for us... I think we left him a $40 tip because the service was so good and he took off the dessert. Anyway, we budgeted $200 for it just in case.

September '05 POR for our 10th anniversary :love2:
fall '06 taking our babies to the WL! :grouphug:

I have heard it is wonderful. I notice from the menu that there is a $10 plate fee for splitting an entree...but come on...some of those steaks are the size of a volkswagon!

Heard the chocolate souffle is to die for!

Must think of adding this to ADR's!

And I thought we were the only ones that knew the best steak on property was at The Flying Fish....it is awesome. But again, it's the only one on the menu.

We really enjoyed Shula's. I'd go back just for the Oyster's Rockefeller.....they were huge and the best I have had anywhere! Overall a real nice place but definitely pricey.

We LOVE Shula's. It always costs us over $200 but the steaks are so good and HUGE. We split a side and DH usually gets the shrimp appetizer too. We've had both the creme brulee and chocolate souffle and both are to die for.

We went last week for the first time and it was the best meal we had all week, even the kids loved it. There was no kids menu which is fine with us, if we are paying big bucks I went them to eat well too. They didn't charge us an extra fee to share thier plate. Portions are big so we ordered one meal for them to share. Gained 5 pounds this trip and I swear it was all from Shula's! On our list of must do's for next year! Service was alos the best we had all week!

we went in June 2005, and the steaks were very good. It was tender, just seasoned with salt and pepper. If you have kids between 4-12, you can drop them off at Camp Dolphin for 2 hours free of charge while you're dining at Shula's. That alone is worth $50 in value.

Our bill came to $115 for the 2 of us. We each got a side, the entree, no dessert, wine, alcohol. Very nice atmosphere, service was great and prompt, a little dark for me but hey... it's a steakhouse, it's to be expected.

Dress code was business casual (not very enforced) and there were some kids in there (even a baby or two). Not stuffy at all. There were quite a bit of businessmen and conventioneers though.

We went in September to celebrate our birthdays. We used the free babysitting. It was wonderful. The food was excellent. The bill was around $200. The place was very nice. Plus my boys had a great time at Camp Dolphin. It was a perfect parent's night out.
