Going to get my FE going,,was wondering if anyone could tell me what size it has to be? How much fabric I should buy,and what to use to hang it,etc....I went onto a link that was posted here a while back,but it didnt really say to much,just showed a few photos.

i was told that a width of 8 1/2'' was perfect, if it were any wider it would be too big and hit your room door and wouldn't sit right. i found a post on here that has step-by-step instructions on how to make a "NO SEW" FE.i don't know how handy with a needle and thread you are(ANYBODY is better than i am) but if you were sewing i'm sure u could just follow the same guidelines. hope this works:

LotsaMickey -- I actually do a lot of sewing, but decided that my FE was going to be sew free -- So, I just bought some colored canvas bags (approx 6x8) and am using ribbon to hook them together -- no sewing at all! I asked each of my family members which disney character that they wanted to be and go iron on transfers for each one -- so, just some canvas bags with iron ons to give character and hooked together with ribbon. Super easy! I got the bags at Hobby Lobby, but I saw them at Joann's and Michaels as well.

I have been look for those and Disney patches,but am having no luck!

And JohnPA,,we are the second seating for dinner,,so I am guessing that is the late seating?
They asked if we wanted first seating,but we figure,since we are kid free,it was best to eat later,so we most likely wont be around a ton of kids that way,plus,we can manage to hold our hunger a bit longer too!

Does anyone know,since we are without children,will we have a table to ourselves? Or will they sit us with another family?

Yep, second seating is the late one. From what I've heard, DCL will try to put like people together. Adults without kids with others without kids, etc.

We ordered our iron ons off of eBay -- there are lots to chose from -- we just typed in the character we were looking for and iron on -- so search Buzz Lightyear Iron On and it pulls up several. The best deals seem to be from ironondiy. She combines shipping if you order more than one and has good ones to chose from especially if you are looking for a less known character like my family wanted! Art is Jack from Nightmare before Christmas, I'm Mulan, Lauren is Alice in Wonderland, and Rusty is Buzz Lightyear. Let me know if you need any more info -- also, most of these are Buy It Nows -- so you don't have wonder if you will win or not -- they have several they are selling.

I was curious to get some ideas of where people will be staying on the 22nd. I have tried to priceline up to $73 so far with no luck. I am tempted to just stay at wdw resort another night because with my brother cast member discount it will be only $60, but then I will be stuck paying $45 in parking. Does anyone know of any other hotels that offer free parking and shuttle service beyond the Radisoon and Country Inn and Suites?

We also have second dining.

And we are flying in the AM of,so I have no info to help out for hotel stay the day before,but,Hotwire.com always has great deals on hotel stays,I have seen 5 stars hotels on the mag.mile in Chicago,go for $90 a night,when it would be $200!

The buses will wait to fill up, but there should be multiple leaving the airport that morning

Got the stuff for my FE today! Can't wait to put it together!
Kids go back to school Monday,most likely will do it then.
Also ordered a lot of 20 pins for trading in the parks after the cruise,this will be our first time trying the pin trading thing too,so it should be fun!
I can't wait! I feel like a kid,counting down the days,buying things for the trip,it is all so exciting!

I was worried about flying in the day of after coming on here,but my sister in law does it every year,and says with it being end of May,we should be more then fine!

Is the cut off for the FE still May 7th?
I want to make sure I have enough time to get together all the items we need to pass out,but don't want to start buying till the list is closed off,so I know how much to buy!
