SCHOOLS OUT!!! May 23, 2010 Wonder Cruise

I just made reservations for this cruise. I know it's a ways off but never to early to plan. Anyone else sailing?

Yes!!!! We will be on the May 9th cruise.This will be our first cruise. Myself, husband and my son will be 13 at time of cruise!!

Yes, DW and I will be on 5/23 cruise celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary (5/25). It's our first ever cruise - gonna be a blast!

Oh, we are "Aniversary Buddies"--DH and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on 5/25 as well! We are booked and planning on it unless something doesn't work out with leaving the kids so close to the end of the schoool year.

Yes..I will be on the May 23, 2010 cruise with daughter, son-in-law, 15 yr old grandson, and 18 yr old step grandson.
This will be my 2nd Dis cruise as I went on the 2006 DVC Member cruise..by myself.
Was ok sailing alone except for having to pay for 2 in room...I used DVC points.
They put me at a table with 3 other women which was fine except the women were totally out of touch with reality.
They thought we were going to Nassau to a casino. I had to break the news that we were going to Castaway Cay..TWICE. I don't think they believed me at first.

A highlight was being invited to the Roy Disney suite for cocktails...never did find out why. He was not there at the time.

Really looking forward to this cruise.

My son will be turning 16 right be for the cruise--hopefully he will meet your grandson--he is very outgoing when it come to meeting people.

I was debating on bring my fish extender--so i guess i will now since you mention it. Is there a group of people who are doing the FE?

We can start a group if you want. I know Rick and I were planning on a FE exchange gift and I'm pretty sure our friends were going to do one also. If you want I can take info- I just coordinated our Christmas FE exchange and have the spreadsheet I used for that.

....on this cruise. We were scheduled for the Tim Hawkins cruise Mar 28th, but had to change due to work conflicts. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and we are planning on bringing a friend for our teenage DD this time around. Sail away day will be my bday and next day will be our DS bday! How fun is that?!

We're in for the FE exchange too. I can coordinate if you want- I still have the spreadsheet from our Christmas cruise that I can use!

This will be our friends first Disney cruise too. Is it sad that I'm looking forward to decorating their door more than ours? The only thing we've talked about is the FE so the door magnets will be a total surprise!

TheBeadPirate~that would be great if you want to keep the list for the exchange! I am hoping that the kids will still enjoy doing it even though they are teens. I know my DD loved it last year, she is so crafty and enjoys making things, and my DS would always be the one to remind us to deliver the surprises each day!
We have never gone on a late Spring/early Summer cruise, so this will be interesting to see how different the weather will be.

My roommate, her D sister, her D niece, and myself booked this cruise for the niece's HS graduation while on the Halloween Sailing of the Wonder last October. Can't wait to get back to Castaway Cay!
