Hi fellow Canadian .We will be sailing away with all of you on May 23 as well .I have read all the messages and it took a while to discover what FE was .I have been on 4 other cruises but never Disney and I have never seen it of heard of it but it sounds great .My girls 7and 5 would love this .Their own treasure hunt .
If you go ahead with this we would love to join .My husband myself(Mom) and the 2 girls . I'm not so creative with this Fe you put outside your door .So if anyone has the break down of how all this takes place and if it is daily or only once during our cruise or some sort of idea for the none sewer what to use all ideas appreciated .![]()
Hi bobbyclobber

Curious what other ships you have cruised on. We are a Disney family and tend to gravitate to Disney for the vast majority of our vacation time. I am guessing that all of you are going to LOVE your Disney cruise.

I have added your family information to both the roll-call and FE summaries on post #'s 69 & 70 (page 5). As for the fish extender, you make your own and hang it on the pewter fish that is on the wall outside your stateroom door. Others who have joined the FE exchange will leave their treasures for you. As far as what you would like to leave for others in the group ... there are really no rules. You can give however you wish. You can give one gift for the whole cruise, you can give one per cabin, or one per person. Gifts can be made or bought. Each family may choose what they wish to do. Of course, the minimum is to give at least one gift per family. Shouldn't cause stress for anyone. It's just a fun thing to find something in your FE as you return to your room.
TIP: You may want to consider bringing a zip-tie to secure your FE to the pewter fish ... there have been occassions where they have been known to "swim away".

There are two links that I added to the bottom of post #70 which may help get your FE gift imagination juices flowing
Also, here is a link to directions on how to make a no-sew FE...
