Well it's managed to happen again a couple of inches of snow roads are not too bad and my sons school is closed only the deputy head turned up.
Why can't we cope here?
Although i bet he's having fun he is currently at his friends house they are very much an outdoors kind of family so no doubt he'll be having snowball fights and sledging.
Any chaos disruptions where you are?

No snow here yet thankfully, is forecast later in the day though not expected to be heavy.

NB - perhaps this should be on the 'community board' forum ?

it was not till about 20 minutes later that i realised that i'd posted this on here oops

I agree its silly that a few inches of snow and the whole country grinds to a standstill:confused3
a friend of mine hasn't sent her children to school (even tho its open) just so they can go and play in the snow !!! like thats really worth a day off:sad2:

Unacceptable that. Hope the school clamp down.

Our school never closed unless the heating went down in the height of Winter, never for snow. Oh it often closed for the teachers strikes that happened every other week in the 80's

i don't know he's not home yet.
I just got a text saying he was fine.
