school trips?

We're considering a trip in May of 2005. Our high school band and choir is going this May, and I was wondering if the parks will be overrun with teenagers on school trips. Is this usually the time they all go, and if so, does it affect attendance?

Not sure about these days ... but our Senior class went on a one-week trip to Florida in May 1973 --- the first year WDW was open!!!!

DH and I just returned from WDW w/ DH's band (he's the percussion instructor). The band marched in the MK parade as part of Disney's Magic Music Days....which I think lasts for a couple of months. We saw lots of groups of kids...the last day we were there, 3 bands marched before Spectromagic. I never felt like the park was overrun w/ kids...but maybe that's because we were there w/ a group of kids for half of our trip.

Our DS's high school band and chorus will be there April 3- April 6 for Magic Music Days, and will be in Spectro on April 5. We were told that the "Music Days" are generally from March until mid-April.
