School tomorrow??

Do you think we will be having it. My car was getting painted and was supposed to be done on Saturday. Due to the weather it was delayed til?? I was sharing a bit with my college dd but on Sat. her fuel pump went on her car. It is sitting at the garage where who knows when they will be able to get in to fix it. There is no answer there, and I would assume they will be closed all day. She drives to college from home and right now I have no way at all to get her there. As she is a pre-med major with alot of labs she isn't aloud to miss. You miss two labs and you fail. She missed one two weeks ago when she had the flu. So I'm really crossing my fingers for no school.

I highly doubt it here in my part of Virginia.

They'll have to do lots of plowing/sanding/salting before even cars can get through....not to mention the big school buses! It's solid sleet here....very crusty and hard to break up. Terrible!

The main roads are okay...but all the side streets are impassable unless you have an SUV!

Busses aren't running, and I've been trying to reach cab companies with no luck. Everything is shut down here. I don't know if a bus would get her there in time and I can't get info on times yet.

I checked and Cecil County schools are already closed for Tuesday.

and her school is closed tomorrow. Now let's see what will happen with the younger ones.
I am wondering if my dh will be coming home tonight. He works at the Phila. Zoo and they had him stay over last night. I don't know if he will be allowed to drive home or if we will still be in a state of emergency.

It started snowing here this morning and we're expecting 10-12 inches unless it doesnt change over until sleet and rain early enough.
This week is public school vacation so my headmaster has to cancel school himself and every time he has had to do this he never cancelled..i have a feeling he'll be cancelling tomorrow since we're under blizzard conditions but the cape is gradually closing down.
