School Reunions

Hi Everyone,

Had a great time this weekend at my school reunion.

I stayed with my old friend from school and spent Friday night visiting all my old haunts (for 'haunts' read 'pubs') and meeting up with old friends.
Saturday was the reunion itself and there were around 180 people there, mostly from my year. I was totally amazed to see people who I had completely forgotten existed. I even met up with my first boyfriend Ahhhh......memories!

The only trouble was that once you have asked the same questions of each other there is not much left to say so I ended up having the same conversation over and over all night with about 60 different people - very surreal.

I'm glad I went though (I wasn't at all sure about it!) It was nice to see the old town where I grew up and also to catch up and see how people have changed/aged over the last 15 years although I didn't meet anyone who I really want to keep in touch with and I certainly wouldn't want to go to any more reunions anytime soon.

I know Fantasia Sam went to hers on Saturday too - how did it go Sam? (It wasn't the same one was it?!?!?)

your post last week prompted me to email an old friend who I had lost touch with - and I've had a lovely reply this morning -

so in a way, I've had a little tiny reunion too...
