Mrs. von Schweetz: "Well, since it seems like everyone's here (OOC if they're not just say they are) so let's discuss some things. I'm your coach, Mrs. von Schweetz. Now, some rules. Work hard and be a good sport. Those are my only rules. Well, that and your normal school rules. If you don't do your best, then you will not get a passing grade. But, this is a pretty easy gym class, so expect nothing but your best. Some of the things we do are dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, basically your regular gym games. Each day, you will go to the locker room to get changed and sit on the line your sitting on right now. Then, I'll discuss the game we're playing and pick two team captains. Then, those captains will spend about 3 to 5 minutes picking teams and we'll start the game right away. Now, I understand we have fairies and cats in this class who can't really play certain sports such as basketball. In those cases, you can have free gym for the period and do whatever you want in the corner of the gym."
Marci: "Lucky," she thought.
Mrs. von Schweetz: "Ok, so today we're playing dodgeball. Fairies and cats will play this. I think you all pretty much know how to play this, unless you've lived under a rock for your whole life. Anyway, if you don't know how to play, you throw balls to the other team across the gym. If you get hit from the shoulders down, you're out. If you get hit above the shoulders, then the person who threw the ball is out. I do not want anyone to have any head injuries."
Saphire: She raised her hand.
Mrs. von Schweetz: "Yes, you."
Saphire: "Hi! I have a comment and a question. If fairies get hit by the ball, they could get really really hurt. How are we supposed to play then?"
Mrs. von Schweetz: "Oh. I never thought of that. I'll have to ask for some growing potion of somesort."
Jaqui: "I have special apples that can do different things. I think I have some that can make you grow a couple feet."
Mrs. von Schweetz: "Oh. Well, could you bring them next time?"
Jaqui: "Sure."
Mrs. von Schweetz: "Great! So for today, fairies do not have to participate. Ok, so on to captains. Um... the read headed girl," she pointed to Marci. "And the boy next to the apple girl." She pointed to Jason. "Come up here and pick your teams. Red head, you go first."
Marci: "Actually, my name's Marci." She started to think about who she would choose. She wanted to shoose Jaqui, but she wanted to choose someone more athletic, like Nat. She was torn. Then, she said, "Nat." She would choose Jaqui next.
Mrs. von Schweetz: "By the way, I'm the soccer coach. So if you want to do soccer, take a form from the bleachers as you leave."
