It's fine! It's a hard concept for a lot of people, and not everyone is made to do it.

Basically it's a play, but partially improved. You create one or more characters and, in this case, post as those characters, either reacting to what's happening in the story or to other characters. It's different depending on the story, and each one has different rules based on the person who's running it.
