Our math/science club is going to San Antonio in April for a state competition. We were hoping to go to Sea World but our group is larger than we budgeted for. (15 kids/5 sponsors) I know about the group discount they offer, but are there any better deals?
We thought we could do picnic lunches, but it says no food in the park. Would we be able to leave the park at noon for lunch and then go back in?
Any money saving or any other fun/inexpensive things for middle school kids to do in San Antonio would be greatly appreciated. (We have done the river walk and marketplace too many times! LOL)

We were just at Sea World in San Antonio last week over spring break. They do allow food in the park. We took in bottled waters, Sunny D, grapes, and these lunchable type things i got at walmart in the produce section with pretzels, cheese squares and apple slices, and we also took it some trail mix. It was plenty of food to snack on throughout the day. There are very few restaurants there and the lines were out the door at each one we passed.
The Sea World policy on what whey will & wont allow in is on their website in the FAQ section http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-sanantonio/Park-Info/Know-Before-You-Go?from=Top_Nav

Six Flags, however does not allow any outside food other than baby food.

I hope it works out and you get to go!
