School Functions

Okay, our school's freshman,junior, and senior classes have put on field days, homecoming, prom, talent shows and more. The sophomore class has nothing to show at all. Were trying to plan some events. We need ideas for assemblies, parties...etc

ANY IDEAS....Help

Well, here's something my high school did. We had something called Fall Fling/Winter Fling/Spring Fling when one class would get food from local restaurants for lunch, like subs, ice cream, etc. Then a school band would play music at lunch too. Maybe you could do something like that...

I know our Middle school has dances and stuff...we pick a theme such as a Hawaian(sp.) theme or at Christmas we have a Christmas theme...and those are always fun! We have a D.J. who comes and plays all the music and we raise lots of money for trips and stuff! Also for band we always go to Cedar Point at the end of the year...we have certain fund raisers like selling candy bars or what ever and raise money so that we can go! And we have a lot of fun!

-Also keep in mind my school is very small so if you have a big school just think of all the fun stuff you could do! And also if you have a small school just remember it is possible to pull it off!

i'd say do a dance of some sort. Not a fancy dance like a semi-formal, but like a spring fling kinda dance. You could even do like a themed one, say 80s or tropical.

I woulda said a talent show, cuz that;s jus what my class did, but ya already said that another class did it!

How about a class picnic? Or maybe a day trip to a local amusement park? Or even a trip to a local beach (if you live near one). I am also a sophomore and we are going through the same thing. The sophomores used to go to the Philadelphia Zoo, but kids in last year's sophomore class did some things to get our school kicked out! So now we can't go there and the teachers have been debating on whether or not sophomores should go on a class trip. Most of the teachers are for a trip, though. Anyways, I'm pretty sure you guys will think of something fun to do.

Wer have an event called sophomore social. It was a formal event and we had it in the caf. We ahd a good turn out this year (300 kids) ye i come from a huge school so!
