We had police at our Valentine's Dance but, they apparently got bored because I saw a few dancing just like this little smiley here>

I don't go to my school ancces. They have really gotten out of hand.I remember in the beginning of the year, I heard there were people putting drugs in open soda bottles. Now some boy brought in a switch blade (how he got past the medal detectors I do not know) and a girl was on drugs. That's why I'm never planning to go to any of the dances.

Intense stuff, BandGeek. But no, we only really have that usual teen drama. The dance is a time for people with bfs/gfs to break up, get back together, or start a rumor that they kissed, even though they didn't. I just try to enjoy myself and dance my butt off with my friends, because if you block out the annoying gossip and drama going on, you have a good time. We have another dance in a few weeks

There doesn't have to be a dance for the police to show up at my school..

I'm not sure if you still have to have the permission slip signed or not to buy a ticket. Last year, a bunch of kids got drunk and came into the dance completely wasted, and as a result permission slips had to be signed. Those kids were never punished either, they got away with it. That pissed nearly everyone off at my school because they were the high and mighty popular kids. They were seniors, the big sports stars at my school, national honor society members, the kids my school puts on a pedestal to set an example for everyone. They were the kids held in high regards so when they were suddenly at the other end of the spectrum, the administration stepped back and did nothing and that's what pissed everyone off..

I almost never go to my school's dances but...this week there was all this threatening graffite in a bathroom. Some kids wrote that they were going to bring a gun to school on monday, they said it would be columbine poart 2. Pretty scary. well anyways the next day before sadies' they found graffite on a door saying they would bring a gun to the dance. so the dance got canceled, but i just found out that the 2 kids were found.

We had a huge drug bust at the fall homecoming dance.

About 1/5 of my school at the homecoming was drunk, and I'm not exaggerating. As far as I know, though, nobody really does any drugs at the dances. It's kind of sad.

At every dance a few cops come just to make sure everything stays in order. Just the usual stuff drama,drama, laguna beach stupid drama, you know the usual...

well, last year at a 7-8 dance (i didn't go because i wasn't in grade seven or eight) and a whole bunch of people got busted for drinking. they just got suspended, nothing more.

Nothing that out of the oridinary occurs at my dances... The normals of stupid people getting drunk, etc...

Last year's Winter Formal had some problems... A friend of mine's purse was stolen. They found her cell phone smashed in the hallway outside the gym, and her license under one of the tables. Her ex-boyfriend finally admitted to doing it, and got suspended. And because of that, at the next dance, they left the lights on. that sucked.

Senior Prom always has interesting happenings, but mine's not until May so I can't say what's gonna happen.

I don't go to Hebron, but apparently there at a Beach Bash Dance, 1/3 of the people were drunk, and there was a fatal car accident. A girl was drunk driving to the dance, and one of her friends was sitting in the passenger side. They hit a tree on Rt. 99. The passenger died. They were both Hebron students.
