Hi, this is my first time to take snacks to a school Christmas party and I don't have a clue what to take...Any ideas? TIA

I have been doing this for years so here are a few ideas

mini corndogs w/ mustard and ketchup on the side
fruit tray
chip and dip
cheese cubes and crackers w/ fruit on a tray
sandwiches cut into shapes
cookie tray

Hope this helps. I have done this for elementary school students and they have all been a big hit with the kids.

I usually made Jell-O Jigglers, if you don't have molds follow the directions on the box and pour it into a pan and use cookie cutters to cut out the shapes. Even the kids who don't like Jell-O like to "play" with them, but I did find that most kids ate them. Popcorn was another thing that they all liked, although it can be messy and thrown around easily, I found this didn't happen too often and it does sweep up easily.

DD's classes have always loved either a fruit tray, chips and queso (easy to take in a crockpot!) or little smokies in barbeque sauce (easy to take in a crockpot also!) One year for the Valentine's party I did a chocolate fondue with marshmallows, pretzels, fruit etc.. for dipping. It was a big hit, but pretty messy.

Thanks for the great ideas. I am headed out to the grocery store today. Have a happy holiday!!!!

If you haven't left yet another fun one is 'dirt cups'
I make them in clear plastic cups and in the winter I put the top layer as cool whip - like the snow and add gummies skiing on little pieces of licorice ;)

I forgot about the dirt cups! I always made those too and they are always a hit.
