School Bread

Does anyone have a picture of school bread? Everyone seems to love the stuff.popcorn::

Mine this year was kind of messy (the icing clearly either hadn't dried or had melted, so the coconut was kinda sliding off of it). So, here's a picture from 2006:

I want to try it but I don't like Coconut..it like gags me lol. Maybe i can have my husband eat the top for me LOL.

Sorry if a double post appears, my connection went down when I hit post.

For the poster who wanted School Bread for breakfast - if you want, they will pack it for takeout. Best to do this shortly before you plan to leave Epcot. I often have School Bread for breakfast - bad girl here:rotfl2:

I really don't think it would be that great without the icing. You'd be better off going to a nice doughnut shop and ordering a Boston cream doughtnut - assuming you like chocolate.

Sorry to hijack the thread here, but where can you get this yummy looking school bread?? I know in Epcot, but which country?? it looks yum!! I definetly want to use one of my snack credits for this!!! popcorn::

I am going to try the pretzel next weekend instead of the school bread....when we had it in June it had a weird spice to it like nutmeg or allspice or something...I dont remember it being there before but it was so overpowering that I couldnt eat it

The pretzles with the Almonds. Soooooooo Good:thumbsup2

Norway's Kringla Bakeri. It's on the left side of the pavilion, if you're facing Maelstrom.

Oh my goodness! I have to try this on our next trip:yay:
I have always gotten the rice cream and it is delicious! We may have to make 2 trips to Norway:thumbsup2

:cool1: :hippie: We usually try for 3 or 4 trips there. Then call DW's friend on the Cell and rub it in where we are.

Ok so am I the only one on the DIS who does not like schoolbread?:confused3 I read so much about it here that I couldn't wait to try it. I love coconut, I love the cream filling, but I found that the dough itself was very dry! Now the pretzels with the almonds on top -YUMMY!
