School Bread for Home

has any one had school bread mailed home? I have a cousin whom lives about 20 minutes from the parks and is there regularly. I tried School Bread for the first time during our May trip this year. I LOVED it !! I am very tempted to have her mail a few to us when the weather is cooler but before it freezes at home here in Central Illinois. Has anyone did this? If so did the bread fare well?

TBH, that seems like it's asking for a stale mess at best or food poisoning at worst. Unless you pack it on dry ice and pay for fast shipping, it probably isn't worth it.

I'd just consider finding a recipe and making them yourself. Looking up School Bread or Skølebrod, there are several recipes to choose from and though they take a little bit of effort, it will likely be better than getting them shipped.

Either that, or just keep it as your special park treat.

I agree with the previous poster....it will likely be equal parts stale and mushy. The Disney Food Blog has a recipe available that you could try.

Pretty sure the filling will spoil during the time it takes to mail. Wouldn't risk it.
