Heard this was doable in a trip report (after original 3FPs are used or expired). Any others try? Would be great for us if eat lunch at resort or take a pool break!

My understanding is that you have to be in the park you want to get the 4th FP+ at to schedule it. That it's intended to resemble the paper FP- system in that way.

My very disney savvy coworker (DVC too) did this just last week....scheduled it at VWL Concierge during their mid-day break....he said that it was easier because the concierge page had a better interface to select times and you could change parks if you were hoping...

YMMV of course - but it seems possible....

While this is convenient, once word gets around I'm not sure it's going to do good things for the resort concierge lines :scratchin

Good to know. Hopefully we can partake during our next trip. Making selections at a kiosk seems very cumbersome.

We were staying at BLT May 4-8 and the front desk did help us book our fourth FP one afternoon. It went very smoothly - in fact my friends didn't even need to scan their bands to book theirs. They went right up to our room and I was able to book all of ours at the front desk. It was definitely very helpful and went very smoothly!

I can only hope that they will soon consider kiosks at the hotel lobby's ....imagine that would make things smoother in the parks too...

What would make it MOST easy would be if the app would allow is to do our own 4th...just sayin.

We usually break at our resort during the midday, so this would be very convenient for us, rather than hopping to our 2nd park later on only to find the ride we want is unavailable for FP+.....

But yes, I agree with both posters above -- kiosk at the resort and/or ability to book #4 FP on phone would be ideal. Hopefully Disney is working towards either or both of those goals.

We attempted this at our hotel today- we were at HS this morning and returned to our hotel (ASM), I asked at concierge and they politely told me it must be booked within the park at a kiosk. So, either I had a CM who didn't know, or maybe it's a benefit of staying at a non- value resort?

I'll definitely be watching to see if there is some pattern as to who it works for and who it doesn't. Might just be wrong info from cm.
